What is PE coated paper?

PE coated paper is coated with polyethylene on the paper roll to make the paper waterproof and oil-proof. The hot-melted PE particles are cast-coated on the surface of the base paper, and then quickly pressed on the surface of the paper to form a firm film that is not easy to detach.

Single side PE coated paper

Single-sided PE coated paper has only one side of PE coating. It is generally used to make disposable food packaging containers. This layer of film is made of food-grade materials, which is safe and non-toxic. It is usually coated on the inner layer of the container to make the container waterproof and oil-proof. The outside of the container will be printed with the brand logo and relevant information.

Double-sided PE coated paper

Double-sided coated paper is coated on both sides of the paper. It is mainly used for disposable cold food containers. The surface of the container is softened, which acts to increase hardness and shape.
